Dr. Nicole Yawgel - Veterinarian

Nice to meet you! My name is Nicole Yawgel, and I’m from Las Vegas, Nevada! Being a veterinarian has been my dream for as long as I can remember, and I am very proud to have made it a reality after attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. I completed my clinical year at VirginiaTech, where I lived the small town life for a short time, but the big city is where I belong. After visiting many times, California ended up stealing my heart, so I’m hoping to be welcomed into making SoCal my new home!

Prior to veterinary school, I was a kennel assistant for about 1 year, and an ER Tech-in-training for about 4 months. While working, I developed a dedication to compassionate patient care. I believe that the greatest quality for a veterinarian to have is empathy, both for pets and their owners. I bring a caring heart and an eagerness to continue pursuing the best treatments in medicine.

While my main passion is veterinary care, I also have a love for crafting! I spent my free time creating jewelry out of sea glass and clay while studying in the Caribbean, and also love sewing and constructing miniature models. When I’m not crafting, I’m either relaxing with my cats at home, or traveling to new places. I’m super excited to join the team and start helping animals!
